so this is a little different, when I go over bumps like a curb or a speed bump I heard a clunk in my front end. Now it only happens when I'm going diagonal over these bumps, straight on and I don't hear anything, plus my steering is fine nothing odd there, just that clunking noise.

Check rear control arm bushings and sway bar link kits, also bad sway bar bushings will make clunking sounds.

What he said. I found control arm bushings were more of a knocking clunk and sway bar bushings were a rattle clunk. But also the endlinks could be shot too. They are usually just a rattle.

Usually, but not always. When my sway bar bushings went bad it was an insanely annoying knocking sound.
