Just a quick question for you guys. After you are done washing your car what is the best tire shine that will keep your tires looking wet and shiny?
Thanks for the comments!

If I have the time I use Mequires tire gel. It takes a little time to apply it and let it dry before you go driving again but it lasts for a long time.

If I am in a hurry I use Mequires hot wheels tire shine (I think that's what it is called) lol. It drys much quicker and you just spray it on so it's quick.

I keep hearing that brand name over and over so i think i will give it a try. I have always used Armor-All but was never too impressed with it. I've always wanted to know what dealerships typically use, since it seems like it is really "wet" looking.

If you are going to buy your typical off the shelf stuff Mequires can't be beat. Mothers is also an excellent brand to check out. My cleaning supply shelf is exclusively those two. However if you want to get crazy and spend some real money Zaino Brothers and Zymol Concours products can't be beat. You can get some Zymol at autozone but it is not the concours level product. However if you are going with those two you are looking at spending three figures for wax alone. It's only worth it if you are going to do some serious car showing.

However, like I said for a daily driver or weekend driver Mequires and Mothers can't be beat.

I use Black Magic wet foam or something like that. Spray it on and you can drive when the foam is gone....usually about 3 minutes.

All of these are oil based tire dressings, which give you the wet and glossy look, which I use on a regular bases...but does anyone know of a water based tire dressing, i cant seem to find any but I really like the way it looks and the water based dressing doesn't make your tire look wet but just more darker and a truer black, and takes away that old faded white look that it gets.
I'm guessing it'll be a little more expensive but I've been looking for a while and cant seem to find any so if you guys know of any let me know....thx
