Yup, that would have been it. So you increased the dia. of the rim by 3", the width by 25mm you are ready 2.3% too slow on the speedo. If you had the speedo set to 77 the cop should have clocked you at 78.77 not 81

ah ha, if you had a 195/55/15 as a stock. cruise at 77 would net an actual 81 reading by the local bacon.

Then he lied or pulled me over instead of someone else :(. I believe my new tire size is a 225. Since I think that's as big as it goes without rubbing

I think Agita runs a 235 without rolled fenders.

It also will depend on your drop and size rim. What width is your rim?

Same width as mine. I would venture to guess you could fit the 235's in. Might need to camber since you have the 18" rims. Camber kit is only $20 or so depending where you look.

Yeah, extra camber is no bueno for a DD!

Come to think of it Agita has the stock SS 18" rims with 235 on it so yes, totally is possible. I would ask if he does have camber kits or not but it can be done! Looks way more bad ass than the 215. I know my 225's make me smile when I see that fat piece of rubber sticking out the wheel well!!

If you are looking for more flush than the smaller the side wall the better. I'm really regretting getting 50 for the side wall, but it does give my car a different look than other balts. So thats kind cool I guess. I just get roll over when I'm taking those really tight turns and it hurts my performance. Next year will be 235/40/17 for sure.

My car is an 09 LS with XFE package. It runs 195/65/15 stock. My 18's are a 225/40/18 to keep the diameter the same.

Slim width wise or height wise? I have 225/50/17 that look pretty mean. I would prefer to go down to a 40 though.

That's right. I kinda regret buying my intake
Why do you regret the intake? SRI?!

With an upgraded suspension you are going to feel more of that no matter what. You will get a bit more comfort if you increase the side wall. So a 225/50 might be just what you want.

4x4'in.

score.

With stock stock tire size being 195/60/15, you want a...

17": 205/45/17 - .2% difference...speedo will read about a tenth of a mph faster than stock
18": 225/35/18 - spot on, 0% difference
19": 225/30/19 - .4% difference...speedo will read about three tenths of a mph faster than stock

And 20's, well...lol @ rubberband 25 sidewalls to keep it close to factory speedo settings.

Hope this helps some of you guys that buy wheels without tires if you care about the speedo reading correctly.

Could you post that link on this thread as well? That was a mighty nice tool to have.
