I know a Cobalt isn't built with the best materials, but it kind of makes me made when I hit 40K and both the turn signal steering column arm and wiper steering column arm both go out on me. I ordered two new arms from Amazon and the wiper one just came in yesterday so some of my Easter weekend will be changing them out.

One good thing is that when I rotated the tires over the weekend I checked the front passenger brake pads. At 43K they had plenty of life left in them and the rotors looked good.

another thing you can do is pull it out of the steering column and take it apart and check the little spring inside i ended up doing this to mine and fixing it myself
