I am having a problem with my turn signal..when i got signal left sometime it flashes or clicks super fast (like when a bulb is out) and that happens for a few times then goes back to normal. I replaced the bulb and fuse after getting a ticket because the cop said that I had taillight out. The taillight would glow but not brighten when the brake is applied and no flashing when turn signal is applied. So I was still having that problem after replacing all the above and it was still happening and just when I getting flustrated the problem went away. I was super excited and went on with my way and then a week later "super flasher" WTF The same problem again WTF So continued to drive and the next time I turned left it was normal again...so make a long story that I already typed short....Where is the problem...in the steering column or taillight?

My first instinct (being an "old car guy") was to say check the flasher...but the Cobalt controls the blinkers and hazard lights through the Body Control Module (BCM). Are the hazard lighths working OK? If the problem is not in the switch , fuse, or wiring then the next possible problem is the BCM itself.
