i think i might have an electrical problem, sometimes i have lights popping up on my dash, or warnings in my info screen. but the weird thing is they do it sporadically, they aren't always on.

these are a few:
check engine light
check gas cap
abs/esc light

also, i think i have a brake problem. when i slow down from 60mph or over, my steering wheel shakes and i can feel the car shaking a bit too.

if anyone could give me some insight or some help, it would be greatly appreciated.

on most cars if the gas cap is not installed correctly it can trigger a check engine light. so those two might actually be linked. my only advice is to make sure the gas cap is on correctly.

as for the brake problem, it sounds like your brake rotors have become warped. This causes the brakes to be unevenly applied and can cause the steering wheel or car to shake or shudder. In extreme cases it can even cause the vehicle to pull to one side or another. I'd recommend getting them checked out. Its pretty simple to replace your brake rotors and your brake pads yourself if you want to save money.

best of luck to ya! hope that helps at all

thanks a bunch! it actually does help.
my only issue with getting all this stuff taken care of is money... of course right! haha living on my own and my car getting all crazy is a very strange mixture.
but hopefully i will be able to get everything fixed before too long, cause letting things go for too long can make other problems.
it never ends!
