I'm looking at buying new rims and tires for my 2010 cobalt xfe and was wondering what you guys did about your TMPS sensors? Can I remove them and put in my new set? If I can remove them, how do I know they will fit before I buy?
Thanks!:)

You can swap over your existing ones or buy a second set of them.

I bought a second set. That way I can swap between my rims and steelies for winter and just relearn the TPMS with no hassles.

i bought a second set from schram auto online for like $80 and went to napa for the rebuild kit which included the sensor nuts and everything for install for under $10 bucks and had a local shop install them for like $60 bucks...personally its worth being able to read the tire pressure and not having the annoying yellow warning sign

Before getting my winter tires, I purchased a set of year-old take-off's from ebay. I know they weren't off of a Cobalt, but the compatibility list was posted on the listing and included my car. $60 shipped, installed for free with my new tires. Been a year now and still working perfectly.
