I plan on getting new coil overs in the near future to lower my car as low it can possibly go. I recently got the new springs, but I was told that if I want to lower it even more, I'd have to get new coil-overs. I also heard of this "spring cutting" thing where you can make the springs shorter, but I read that that's a very bad idea. Any reasonable ideas?

I think we have addressed this issue to death. Check the recent suspension threads for answers and opinions. If I was on a computer I would attach some links.

Just remove the springs and you're good.

but yeah coilovers are your best option to get the lowest. or air ride if you are into that. there are tons of options.
