Hello Yourcobalt.com!

I am a 23 year old dude from Ontario Canada, ripping it up on the streets with the Laser Blue Metallic Cobalt LT. I LOVE the colour of the car! I love even more that EVERYONE watches me pass :p

I am fairly new to the modding scene, but I have a few things I have/want done.

I have changed the control bushings( I highly suggest you do it if you have not already. The responsiveness of the car is amazing over stock!). Also using synthetic oil is a fair difference in RPM and throttle response. I have had to sandblast and powder coat my stock rims( they were peeling...). The black bug/rock guard looks good with the black around the fog lights of the LT. And a third brake light that says "COBALT" when braking(ebay, $10 canadian)

I have SS/SC Springs(to drop it a bit, not too much... there are lots of bad roads around here...), 2.4L intake manifold, and a GMPP intake that all need to be installed. Im hoping that they will get me close to the 2.4L Cobalt SS's. Plus I need to make an appointment for my window tint. :)

I would love to supercharge/turbo it, but I have to watch out for the emissions tests and that junk....

Anyone think that these are a good start for beginers? What else besides a new header(pacesetter most likely), and cat-back would be good?

Thanks for reading, and thanks for the welcome to yourcobalt.com!

If you paint to match that smoked bug deflector it will almost disappear.

Hahaha! I was thinking about that, but I have the black inserts from around the fog lights, and I kinda like the black up there too, to kinda break apart the look a bit more! Thans for the suggestion

You should also paint your front calipers before they rust too much and caliper bracket. Nice wheels, I would like to get some of those for next summer. They look something like this when your done.

Also hot rod black paint does wonder for wiper arms that have started to corrode.
