My Balt has got really bad wind noise lately, starting as low as 40MPH. Its not just the noise my car seems to be getting blown around by it.
The dealer says they cant fins any air leaks and said thats just the way it is, although its never been like this before.
Is there anything I can add to the car that might help?

I get a high-pitched squeal during crosswinds on the highway. The dealer's checking the cowl cover in front of the windshield today.

Well regardless of what's causing the sound, your going to be blown around. If you don't like it add weight, that's the only thing you can do...

same thing happened to me and the dealer said the same thing. i let it go for a few more days then got annoyed and took it back stating, "there is definatly something wrong here. The looked again and went, "Oh the seal is unaligned we must have missed that last time"...... So all i would say is try again but be forceful...especially if you have a warrenty

They realigned the seal a while ago. Replaced another that was starting to wear out.
My bumper to bumper went sayonara this week. But at least I got them to replace the steering column and intermediate shaft before it ended.

I was thinking of getting wind deflectors for around the windows. I know they are mainly for deflecting wind and rain while the window is open, but maybe they will also help when the windows are closed?

I don't imagine them help much. But if you can find the fault in the seal yourself you may be able to fab something to seal it better...

The guy at Evans Tire said some places have a smoke machine which helps the techs find out where the air is leaking out. Maybe I'll try to find one that has it because its making driving on the Freeway tedious.
I just swapped the Goodyear Comforttreds with Michelin Primacy and I hope they give me a better ride on the rain grooves on the freeway. If I can solve the tire problem and the wind noise problem my ride will be back to normal.

I don't know if this helps, but the dealer found my wind noise, -coming from the top of the windshield. The noise goes away when you push on the inside of the windshield behind the rearview mirror, so he's ordered a new windshield.

I've never seen a water leak. This has something to do with the rubber seal near the OnStar wiring.
