Vehicle: '09 LT Cobalt Sedan

I am not asking for a step by step guide by any means, to preface. I have searched and found very shallow information about this topic. I did find https://www.yourcobalt.com/forums/forum-faqs-how-tos-read-first/101370-wiring-schematic-doing-remote-start-install.html which it appears I'll need a GM passkey module or something? I have not attempted to wire the remote start as of yet because I know it will be a beast of a project in terms of finding the locations of wires. The exact item is: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077MZC8RJ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Am I in need of any sort of bypass module?

On top of this, what's going to be the best route of finding the wires needed for ignition / starter voltage? I've got AllData and Haynes, and have found a few on the BCM but I'm still trying to figure out how to manage the wiring mess I'll create with T-connectors. Lol.

Check out the XPRESSKIT XK06 with the PKG7 firmware worked great for my '07 LT 2.2L. Took care of the PK3 and data feed.
