My first car is my Cobalt! At my school, there are alot of Cobalts that I assume are everyone's first cars. I soon thought how many people on here got their Cobalt as their first car. So is it your first car? If it is, what led you to getting a Cobalt? If it is your first, post some pics too if you'd like! Thanks guys

My first car was 1993 Ford Probe. I don't even know if I have any pictures of it.

1971 cutlass
Paid $150 drove it for 4yrs.
Best car ever...
Smashed it a month into driving it.
An stuffed a pair of pants and shoes and put it in the front grill
And the hood had a wrinkle in it so put a glove sticking out..
Had a fishing string tied to one of the legs and when ya pulled it the leg would kick
Man we'd have fun at the mall driving around...
I'm old to...:)

I traded a bottle of Remy Martin XO cognac for my first car, a super mint two-tone 1986 Pontiac Bonneville Brougham. It was a 3.8 V6, rwd, had all of 110hp, maxed out at 85mph and she was a thirsty girl. But damn, she was special. I still have her in storage. Really wanted to put a 350 in her, but alas, I never followed through. Car is stock with less than 60k miles, has timing issues and a leaking diff.

My 2nd car was a '97 Bland Am 3.1 V6. She wasn't pretty but she was a champ in the snow.

First car was a 1994 Cavalier VL 2.2 TBI. I built the motor, and killed it within 3 months. Had a rock shoot through my radiator and the car overheated and warped the head WAY passed the point of being decked. That's when I also found out my Coolant temp sensor didn't work on it either lol.

Shitty way to find that out!

My first was a 1990 F-150 passed down from my dad. Loved it and hated it at the same damn time. I miss it, but I'm glad I'm not still driving it. Slung a rod on the intersate halfway between home and college on a trip home one time. And that's how I ended up with a Cobalt!

First car was a 97 Dodge avenger...Changed the water pump and drove it once. Then my sister put hers under a truck and took mine(parents paid for it, I had no choice). First car I bought, 03 Ford Focus. I loved it. I put a cb in it, started modding it, then some old toothless bastard pulled out in front of me in the rain.
Then I had a 94 escort, and it was a piece. I wish I still had it though. Along with the cobalt, I couldn't survive with just the escort, but it sure was fun to drive.

My cobalt 09 LS modded :)

Apparently a 05 Ion Redline with 250 WHP was too fast for my parents. I could buy most cars with 11k saved but only ones that they approved because I couldn't afford the car and my own insurance, just the car. Had to be a manual and this is what I ended up with and I'm happy with it.

1996 Nissan 200SX SE-R 5 speed manual was my first car owned back in 1999. Had it swapped to a SR20DE-T Sunny Super-Saloon Edition, FMIC (replacing the top mount intercooler), Apexi N1 turbo muffler, 3" cat-back piping, custom 3" downpipe with 02 bungs, Catco hi flow cat, Stillen Pop air intake, JWT ECU flash, Greddy Type R BOV, Pacesetter adjustable height short shifter, Sprint Springs 2" drop, R33 style fiberglass body kit, Toyota 4 runner hood fitted and trimmed, projector chrome headlights, clear turn signals, Stillen spoiler, Tenzo R Shumacher 16" wheels, Toyo Proxes tires, autometer gauges (2), dual universal gauge pod.

Ran the car for about 2 years and got tired of oil fiters (had to order 5 per year overseas @$280 after shipping). Stayed good @ 9 psi with around 260 hp and also rebuilding axles once a year. No one offered a performance axle at the time. Also had a ACT Stage 1 clutch and Unorthodox Ultra S flywheel.

I like how a lot of people are giving car histories here. Maybe I'll make a car history topic so people can talk about all the cars they've had and stuff done to them and what happened to them. Might be good.
