Quick Question

I've been looking and I can't find anyone with a LS/LT with this exact system so I'm posting a new thread.
I just have a quick question regarding this exhaust:
Tsudo Chevy Cobalt 05 07 SS 2 0 N1 Cat Back Exhaust System | eBay
(Hopefully that link works...copied from mobile browser)

My cat converter has gone bad so I'm looking for a whole new cat back.
Anyways it says in the description very specifically that it will NOT fit anything other than the 2.0.
What's the difference, if any, to make it not work? Does anyone have the Tsudo system like this one and drive a LS/LT?
I've had the other style Tsudo for about 4 years now but I think I like this style more if it will fit on my car. But I don't see why it wouldn't.

Any help appreciated!

You realize that this pipe doesn't include the cat right! Pretty sure the 2.0l cat back won't fit a 2.2l

lsj/l61/lap/le5 have the exact same exhaust set up except for diameter. the only difference will be the downipe if the 2.2's/2.4 have an automatic. and yes coby is right about cat converter, it's on your downpipe, not catback

Haha I put catalytic converter for some reason.
The resonator is what's bad lol...terrible rattling and such.

That's what I thought it was at first but it's laying in my yard right now while I'm riding around without it and that rattle is louder than ever lol.

Resonator is usually an empty tube cut at a special lenght to resonate at the cruising vehicle speed I believe to be 60 miles per hour. I would believe like bankerbalt says that baffles in your muffler probably became loose and are rattleing. Mind you some resonators have been known to have baffle plates.

Alright found this one:
SRS 05 07 Chevy Cobalt SS Super Charge Catback Exhaust | eBay

Basically the same thing but just has the 2-bolt flanges rather than the 3-bolt flanges like on the SS/TCs. With 2.25" piping this has to fit right?
Would like to order today so it will ship out first thing tomorrow.

Thanks again!

So your cat converter is fine? No CEL's or DTC P0420/P0430? If your check engine light is on and one of them codes is picked up on a scanner, Catalyst is toast my friend and you will need the whole downpipe/mid length section.

For the exhaust system, here is a good deal and its the same thing as GMPP, tuned by same company, except price is great on it :)

Yeah the cat is fine lol. Idk what I was talking about. Anyways it's not throwing codes or anything so I'm pretty sure the resonator is just crap.

I'm ordering my cheap ebay exhaust and slapping it on when it comes in so I can look and sound cool again lol.
Hard to impress the masses with a horrendous honda rattle coming from the underside.
I'll post pics of the finished install!
